NWSL × Army National Guard

In February 2014 the Army National Guard became the NWSL's Official Armed Forces Partner, the league's first unaffiliated official sponsor.

The partnership included a Military Night at every club, on-site presence and in-stadium signage at nationally televised games, video and public address announcements, and the renaming of the league's Player of the Month award as the Army National Guard Player of the Month.

It also connected the Guard's Grassroots Soccer program with high school players, parents and coaches.
